In my 20’s when my father said that time moved too fast, I thought he was crazy.

Time was too slow.

I wanted a new job. A better car. I bigger house. Everything took too long.

The Tail End

I found this blog post after I turned 50, and review it every time the calendar turns.

Tim Urban’s 2015 Tail End article is a stark visual reminder of just how fast time flies. The graphs are sobering. Even a lucky person, who lives to 90, will have no problem fitting every day in their life on one sheet of paper.

Spending time with loved ones is a blessing.

We were lucky enough to get a house full of our boys, wives, girlfriends and an extra dog this year. But how many more? Mathematically, not that many.

This graphical illustration should be a hard shove for anyone procrastinating a new start.
